I created the map above for those who want to buy a lakefront cottage, or something within a short distance to a great beach, in Southwest Michigan. The map covers a stretch of Lake Michigan lakefront property that is less than twenty (20) miles wide. This location is about a one hour drive from Chicago, making it an ideal location for a weekend getaway or even a day trip to the beach.
